The FR306 is a 3A, 600V fast recovery rectifier diode designed for high-efficiency rectification in switching power supplies, adapters, chargers, and general-purpose power electronics.
Compared to standard rectifiers like the 1N540x series, the FR306 offers a much faster reverse recovery time, making it suitable for high-frequency applications.

It is commonly available in a DO-27 axial package, providing good thermal conduction and high surge capability.
