The ATtiny13A is an 8-bit AVR RISC microcontroller developed by Atmel (now Microchip Technology). It belongs to the ATtiny family, which is designed for low-power, low-cost, and compact embedded applications.

It uses Harvard architecture with a RISC instruction set, allowing most instructions to execute in a single clock cycle. Despite its small 8-pin DIP package, the ATtiny13A integrates program memory, data memory, timers, ADC, PWM, and GPIO, making it suitable for simple control and sensing tasks as well as easy prototyping on breadboards.
