PIC17C44 Microcontroller
The PIC17C44 is an 8-bit high-performance microcontroller developed by Microchip Technology. It belongs to the PIC17 family, which was designed for very high-speed operation compared to earlier PIC devices.
The PIC17C44 uses Harvard architecture and a RISC instruction set, enabling fast instruction execution. Unlike modern PIC18 devices, it uses OTP (One-Time Programmable) EPROM program memory, meaning the program is written once and cannot be erased. It was mainly used in applications requiring high processing speed and deterministic real-time control.
