MQ7 Carbon Monoxide CO Gas Sensor
The MQ?7 Gas Sensor is a semiconductor sensor designed to detect carbon monoxide (CO) gas in the air. It consists of a tin dioxide (SnO?) sensing element whose resistance changes in response to CO gas concentration. The sensor includes a heater to maintain optimal operating temperature, allowing accurate detection. The MQ?7 provides an analog output proportional to the CO concentration, making it easy to interface with microcontrollers such as Arduino, ESP32, or Raspberry Pi via an ADC. It is commonly used for safety monitoring, leak detection, and educational projects.
