The DHT22 Temperature and Humidity Sensor Module (also known as AM2302) is a high-accuracy digital sensor designed to measure ambient temperature and relative humidity with excellent stability and reliability. It provides calibrated digital output using a single-wire communication protocol, making it very easy to interface with Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, and other microcontrollers.

Compared to the DHT11, the DHT22 offers better accuracy, wider measurement range, and higher resolution, making it suitable for more demanding applications such as weather stations, environmental monitoring, HVAC systems, and smart home projects.
