The 6N135 is a high-speed optocoupler (opto-isolator) designed for fast digital data transmission between two isolated circuits. It consists of an infrared LED and a high-gain photodetector with an open-collector output transistor. Unlike general-purpose optocouplers (like 4N35 or PC817), the 6N135 is optimized for high-speed logic interfacing, providing data rates up to 1 Mbps.

It offers strong electrical isolation between input and output, making it suitable for high-speed communication in industrial and digital systems.
