74HC4514 4 to16 line Decoder/Demultiplexer with Latch IC (744514) DIP 24 Package
The 74HC4514 is a 4-to-16 line decoder/demultiplexer with latching capability, designed using high-speed CMOS technology. It converts a 4-bit binary input into one of 16 mutually exclusive outputs, meaning only one output is HIGH at a time, depending on the binary input combination.
This IC includes a latch that stores the input data, allowing you to control when the outputs update — a useful feature in multiplexing, display driving, and data selection circuits. The device operates over a wide voltage range (2V–6V), has low power consumption, and high noise immunity.
