A7840 Isolation Amplifier IC
The A7840 is a precision isolation amplifier IC designed to accurately transmit small analog signals while providing high-voltage galvanic isolation between the input and output. It integrates an optical coupling system that ensures excellent linearity, low offset, and high common-mode transient immunity, making it ideal for noise-sensitive and high-voltage applications.
With its wide bandwidth (~100 kHz) and 3750 Vrms isolation voltage, the A7840 reliably measures current, voltage, or other analog signals in electrically harsh environments. It’s a direct equivalent to the Broadcom HCPL-7840, offering dependable performance and high accuracy in industrial and power control systems.
