The AD633 is a low-cost, precision four-quadrant analog multiplier designed by Analog Devices. It is capable of performing analog multiplication, division, and signal modulation functions directly in analog form — without the need for external trimming or complex circuitry.
Packaged in a compact SMD (SOIC-8 or SOIC-14) format, the AD633 provides excellent accuracy, simplicity, and versatility, making it ideal for use in analog signal processing, instrumentation, modulation/demodulation, and control systems.
The device can multiply two analog voltages (X and Y inputs) and produce an output proportional to their product divided by 10 V (W = XY/10 V). An additional input allows the result to be summed with another voltage, providing further flexibility for mixed-signal and mathematical operations.
