The ADS1115 ADC module converts analog signals into precise digital readings with 16-bit resolution and communicates via a two-wire I²C interface, which requires only two communication lines (SDA and SCL).
It supports up to four single-ended analog inputs or two differential inputs, with a programmable gain amplifier (PGA) offering input ranges from ±0.256V to ±6.144V.
This flexibility makes it ideal for sensors, transducers, or other analog signal sources. The module also features an alert/ready pin for interrupt-driven applications and supports a wide supply voltage range (2.0V to 5.5V), enabling compatibility with 3.3V and 5V logic levels.
- WIDE SUPPLY RANGE: 2.0V to 5.5V
- PROGRAMMABLE DATA RATE: 8SPS to 860SPS
- It has an Internal low-drift voltage reference
- Internal Oscillator.
- Internal PGA.
- I2C INTERFACE : Pin-Selectable Addresses.
- Four single ends Or Two differential inputs.
- Programmable Comparator.
- This board/chip uses I2C 7-bit addresses between 0x48-0x4B, selectable with jumpers
- LOW CURRENT CONSUMPTION: Continuous Mode: Only 150µA Single-Shot Mode: Auto Shut-Down
