BH1750 Light Intensity Sensor Module
The BH1750 Light Intensity Sensor Module is a digital ambient light sensor that measures light intensity in lux (lx), simulating the human eye’s response to light. It uses the BH1750FVI IC from ROHM Semiconductor and communicates with microcontrollers via the I²C (TWI) interface, allowing easy integration with boards such as Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi.
Unlike analog sensors, the BH1750 outputs a digital signal directly, eliminating the need for complex ADC conversions. It provides high precision and low power consumption, making it suitable for applications like automatic lighting control, display brightness adjustment, and environmental monitoring.
