The BT136 is a compact bidirectional TRIAC designed for low-to-medium power AC switching and phase control applications. Rated for 600 V repetitive peak off-state voltage and 4 A RMS on-state current, it is ideal for controlling small to moderate AC loads. Its bidirectional conduction and four-quadrant gate triggering make it suitable for driving AC loads in both halves of the waveform.
