DS1307 IN1307 Real Time Clock RTC IC SMD Package
The DS1307 (also known as IN1307 compatible) is a low-power real-time clock (RTC) IC designed to provide accurate timekeeping and calendar functions for embedded systems and microcontroller-based applications. It communicates via the I²C serial interface, making it easy to integrate into a wide range of digital designs.
The DS1307 keeps track of seconds, minutes, hours, day, date, month, and year, with automatic leap-year compensation. It also includes 56 bytes of battery-backed NV SRAM for storing user data. With a battery backup input, the clock continues to run even when the main power is removed.
The SMD package makes it suitable for compact, modern PCB designs.
