LM1086CT-ADJ LM1086 – 1.5A Adjustable Low Dropout LDO Positive Voltage Regulator
The LM1086CT-ADJ (LM1086 Adjustable) is a high-performance low dropout (LDO) linear voltage regulator capable of delivering up to 1.5A output current with an adjustable output voltage. The output voltage can be set from 1.25V up to 12V (or higher, depending on input voltage) using only two external resistors, making it highly flexible for a wide range of power supply designs.
Thanks to its low dropout voltage (typically about 1.3V at full load), the LM1086 is ideal for post-regulation of DC-DC converters, 5V to 3.3V or 5V to lower voltage conversion, and battery-powered systems. The IC includes current limiting and thermal shutdown protection, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
