LM335 Temperature Sensor
The LM335 is a precision analog temperature sensor that operates like a temperature-dependent Zener diode, with an output voltage linearly proportional to absolute temperature (in Kelvin). It provides 10 mV per Kelvin (10 mV/K), making it easy to measure temperature using simple analog or ADC circuits.
The LM335 is factory calibrated and can be easily adjusted with a single external resistor for higher accuracy. It is widely used in temperature measurement, compensation, and control circuits, as well as in weather stations, laboratory instruments, and industrial electronics.
