The MAX7219 Dot Matrix 4-in-1 Display Module is a large LED display unit made by combining four 8×8 LED dot matrix modules into a single board (total 8×32 = 256 LEDs).

It uses the powerful MAX7219 LED driver IC, which allows full control of all LEDs using only three microcontroller pins through an SPI-compatible serial interface.

The module is ideal for scrolling text, digital clocks, notifications, animations, and IoT displays.
It can also be daisy-chained with multiple modules to form long LED displays such as 8×64, 8×96, or even larger message boards.
