The SF58 is a super-fast recovery rectifier diode rated for 5A forward current and 1000V reverse voltage. It features a fast recovery time (typically ~150ns), making it suitable for high-frequency rectification, SMPS, and fast-switching power circuits where standard rectifiers like the 1N5408 or 1N4007 would be too slow.
