PIC16C554 Microcontroller
The PIC16C554 is an 8-bit microcontroller from Microchip Technology, part of the PIC16C family. The “C” indicates it uses OTP (One-Time Programmable) or EPROM program memory, rather than Flash memory.
It uses Harvard architecture with a RISC instruction set, allowing most instructions to execute in a single instruction cycle. The PIC16C554 is designed for low-cost, low-power embedded applications and features digital I/O, timers, and serial communication for simple control and monitoring tasks.
