The PL2303 USB to TTL/RS232 Serial Module is a versatile USB-to-serial communication adapter based on the Prolific PL2303 USB-serial bridge chip.
It allows a computer’s USB port to communicate with devices using TTL (0–5V / 0–3.3V) or RS232 serial levels, depending on the cable/module version.

Often used for programming microcontrollers, routers, modems, GPS modules, and industrial equipment, the PL2303 provides a reliable and low-cost serial interface for debugging and communication.

Some variants come as a USB cable with exposed wires/connectors, while others are modules with pin headers.
