TC7662 Charge Pump DC to DC Voltage Converter IC
The TC7662 is an enhanced, high-efficiency charge pump DC-DC voltage converter IC designed to provide voltage inversion and voltage doubling without the need for inductors or magnetic components. Manufactured by Microchip Technology, it is an improved version of the TC7660, capable of operating at higher input voltages (up to 15V) and delivering higher output currents with lower output impedance.
The TC7662 is ideal for generating a negative voltage (-Vout) from a positive supply (+Vin), such as converting +12V to –12V. Its CMOS design ensures low power consumption, high efficiency, and quiet operation, making it perfect for use in mixed-signal, analog, and battery-powered applications.
