Rain Drop Sensor Module
A rain drop sensor module is an electronic sensing board designed to detect the presence of rain, water droplets, or moisture on a surface. It consists of a sensor plate (often a set of exposed conductive traces) and an electronic module that produces a signal when water contacts the plate. When raindrops fall on the sensing surface, the water bridges the gaps between the traces, changing the electrical characteristics. This change is converted into a digital or analog output that can be read by a microcontroller or controller circuit. Rain drop sensors are commonly used in weather stations, outdoor automation, and smart systems that need to respond to rain or wet conditions.
