6N138 High Speed Optocoupler
The 6N138 is a high-speed optocoupler designed for digital signal isolation in applications requiring moderate-speed data transmission and high noise immunity. It consists of an infrared LED optically coupled to a high-gain photodetector transistor, providing a high Current Transfer Ratio (CTR) even at low input currents.
The 6N138 is similar to the 6N136 but offers much higher CTR, making it suitable for systems where strong output drive is required even with low LED current.
