DS1307 IN1307 Real Time Clock RTC IC
The DS1307 (and its compatible version IN1307) is a low-power real-time clock (RTC) IC designed to provide accurate timekeeping and calendar functions in microcontroller-based and embedded systems. It communicates via the I²C serial interface, making it easy to integrate with a wide range of processors and development boards.
The DS1307 keeps track of seconds, minutes, hours, day, date, month, and year, with automatic leap-year compensation. It also includes 56 bytes of battery-backed NV SRAM for storing user data. With a battery backup input, the clock continues to run even when the main power is removed, making it ideal for clocks, data loggers, and time-stamping applications.
