DS8921 Differential Line Driver and Receiver Pair IC DIP 8 Package
The DS8921 is a differential line driver and receiver pair IC designed for high-speed data transmission over balanced transmission lines. It converts single-ended logic signals into differential outputs and receives differential signals back into logic-level outputs, providing excellent noise immunity and reliable communication over long distances.
The device is commonly used in RS-422/RS-485–style differential signaling applications, data communication links, and industrial control systems. Its differential operation greatly reduces susceptibility to electromagnetic interference (EMI). Packaged in a DIP-8 through-hole package, the DS8921 is suitable for prototyping, educational use, and industrial communication designs.
