TC7660 Charge Pump DC to DC Voltage Converter IC
The TC7660 is a DC-to-DC voltage converter IC designed to provide voltage inversion and voltage doubling functions using charge pump technology. Developed by Microchip Technology, this IC efficiently converts a positive input voltage (e.g., +5V) into a corresponding negative output voltage (e.g., –5V) without requiring inductors or magnetic components.
Operating with only a few external capacitors, the TC7660 offers a compact, low-cost, and reliable solution for generating negative supply rails in mixed-signal and analog circuits. Its CMOS design ensures ultra-low power consumption, high efficiency, and quiet operation, making it ideal for battery-powered and portable systems.
