TLP714 Optocoupler IC SMD
The TLP714 is a high-performance high-speed transistor output optocoupler designed by Toshiba for applications requiring fast switching, reliable isolation, and low input current operation. It consists of a GaAlAs infrared LED optically coupled to a high-speed NPN phototransistor, packaged in a compact SMD (Surface-Mount Device) format for space-efficient PCB designs.
With fast response times and strong immunity to electrical noise, the TLP714 is ideal for interfacing low-voltage logic systems (microcontrollers, PLCs, communication ICs) with higher-voltage or noisy circuits. The device provides robust galvanic isolation, protecting sensitive electronics from voltage spikes, ground loops, and surges commonly found in industrial and power electronics systems.
This optocoupler excels in applications requiring signal integrity, fast switching, and stable CTR (Current Transfer Ratio) across temperature and aging conditions.
