UC3844 SMD SOP 8 Current Mode PWM Controller IC 

The UC3844 is a high-performance current-mode PWM controller designed for use in switch-mode power supplies (SMPS) and DC-DC converters. It integrates all the essential control and protection functions required for efficient power conversion while minimizing external component count.

Operating at a fixed frequency with current-mode control, the UC3844 provides fast transient response, improved stability, and inherent pulse-by-pulse current limiting. The device includes an internal oscillator, error amplifier, current sense comparator, undervoltage lockout (UVLO), and a high-current totem-pole output stage capable of directly driving power MOSFETs.

The SOP-8 (SMD) package makes it ideal for compact, surface-mount power supply designs.
