XR2206 Monolithic Function Generator IC
The XR2206 is a monolithic function generator IC capable of producing high-quality sine, square, triangle, ramp, and pulse waveforms with high stability and accuracy. Developed by Exar Corporation, it integrates all the active elements needed for waveform generation into a single chip — eliminating the need for external complex circuitry.
With a simple RC network, the XR2206 can generate frequencies ranging from 0.01 Hz to 1 MHz, making it an extremely versatile and cost-effective solution for signal generation, frequency modulation (FM), phase-locked loops (PLL), and test equipment.
