The HCPL-3131 / A3131 is a high-performance power MOSFET/IGBT gate drive optocoupler designed to provide safe and efficient isolation between low-voltage control circuitry and high-voltage power transistors. It integrates a high-speed LED input and a rugged output stage capable of sourcing or sinking current to drive power devices directly.
With reinforced insulation and high CMR (Common-Mode Rejection), the HCPL-3131 ensures reliable switching operation even in electrically noisy environments. It is widely used in SMPS, motor drives, and inverter applications where galvanic isolation and strong gate drive capability are required.
