AD595 Thermocouple Amplifier IC
The AD595 is a complete thermocouple signal conditioning amplifier designed by Analog Devices, specifically optimized for use with Type K thermocouples. It integrates a precision instrumentation amplifier, a thermocouple cold-junction compensator, and a high-level output amplifier — all on a single monolithic chip.
This IC simplifies temperature measurement by converting a thermocouple’s small millivolt signal directly into a calibrated 10 mV/°C output, requiring no external components or calibration. With built-in cold-junction compensation and excellent linearity, the AD595 delivers accurate, stable, and low-noise temperature readings over a wide range.
