The EM-18 RFID Reader Module is a compact and reliable 125KHz RFID reader designed for contactless identification and access control applications. It can read the unique ID number from standard 125KHz RFID cards and key fobs and outputs the data through TTL serial interface, making it easy to connect with microcontrollers such as Arduino, PIC, AVR, Raspberry Pi, and other embedded systems.

The module comes with a built-in antenna and supports plug-and-play operation. When a compatible RFID tag is brought near, the EM-18 reads the card ID and sends it automatically to the host controller. Due to its simplicity, stability, and low cost, it is widely used in security systems, attendance systems, and DIY electronics projects.
