LM1085 ADJ 3A Adjustable Low Dropout LDO Positive Voltage Regulator 

The LM1085-ADJ (LM1085 Adjustable) is a high-current low dropout (LDO) linear voltage regulator capable of delivering up to 3A output current with an adjustable output voltage. The output voltage can be set from 1.25V up to 12V or higher (depending on input voltage) using only two external resistors, making it highly flexible for a wide range of power supply designs.

With a low dropout voltage of typically around 1.3V at full load, the LM1085 is ideal for post-regulation of switching power supplies, 5V to 3.3V conversion, battery-powered systems, and high-current low-voltage rails. It includes built-in current limiting and thermal shutdown protection, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
