MAX7219 8×8 LED Dot Matrix Display Module
The MAX7219 8×8 LED Dot Matrix Display Module is a compact display board that uses the MAX7219 LED driver IC to control a full 8×8 LED matrix (64 LEDs) using only three microcontroller pins.
The module communicates using an SPI-compatible serial interface, allowing easy connection to Arduino, ESP8266, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, STM32, and other microcontrollers.
Multiple modules can be daisy-chained to create larger displays (8×32, 8×64, scrolling text displays, etc.). The MAX7219 handles all LED driving, multiplexing, and brightness control internally, reducing the workload on the microcontroller.
