ULN2003 / ILN2003 (2003) 7 Darlington Transistor Arrays IC DIP 16 Package
The ULN2003 / ILN2003 is a 7-channel Darlington transistor array IC designed to interface low-level logic signals with higher-current and higher-voltage loads. It integrates seven NPN Darlington transistor pairs with open-collector outputs, enabling direct control of devices such as relays, solenoids, motors, lamps, and LEDs from TTL or CMOS logic circuits.
Each output channel includes a built-in flyback (clamp) diode, making the IC especially suitable for driving inductive loads safely without additional external protection components. The DIP-16 through-hole package allows easy handling, breadboard use, and straightforward PCB mounting, making it ideal for prototyping, educational, and industrial control applications.
