ULN2803 Darlington Transistor Arrays IC DIP 18 Package
The ULN2803 is a high-current Darlington transistor array IC designed to interface low-level logic circuits with higher-power loads. It contains eight NPN Darlington transistor pairs with open-collector outputs, allowing it to drive relays, solenoids, motors, lamps, and LED displays directly from TTL or CMOS logic signals.
Each channel includes a built-in flyback (clamp) diode for safe switching of inductive loads, reducing the need for external protection components. Packaged in a DIP-18 through-hole package, the ULN2803 is easy to use in prototyping, educational, and industrial control applications.
